Job Context – Senior Backend WordPress Developer
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Senior Web Developer to develop, improve and maintain web pages and applications. You will be part of our development team in Dhaka, which works dedicated to projects for Broker Data. The team in Dhaka contains both frontend and backend developers but you will work closely with the design and tech team of Broker Data from the Netherlands.
Senior Developer responsibilities include communicating with clients to determine website specifications, guiding a team of junior developers, refining website specifications, resolve technical issues without losing sight of quality and deadlines. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience building web pages from scratch and in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Javascript, Jquery, and PHP. You should also be able to work under time pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time. You should be able to provide excellent customer service, understand written and verbal instructions, and stick to deadlines and budget constraints.
To be successful as a senior web developer, you should be innovative and demonstrate a passion for technology. Outstanding candidates are deadline-driven self-starters with superb customer skills.
